MEDFORD

Medford is a great place to live, work, and play! We get the best of both worlds in the Rogue Valley; all the fun urban activities with the country location and fun to be had in the great outdoors. Many times our local universities and colleges have been awarded the honor of being great schools for year around activities. We are also a cultural hub for organic living and small family farming.

Medford, Oregon located in the center of the Rogue Valley, has been home of the medical industry for a number of years. Many in the Valley work in some capacity at the Rogue Valley medical facilities (approx. 9000 people work for our medical industry). Meanwhile, other industries like the box retail stores, Rogue Valley Mall, construction, real estate, and many other industries in the Valley.

The medical facilities in the Rogue Valley are likely the biggest reason Medford is named again and again as one of the best places to retire in America. Affordable housing, access to more doctors per capita, and dry, warm climate are all attractions for retiring persons. Other places that have been named in the top 20 best places to retire are also large metropolitan areas, unlike Medford, which is a quite town with all the rural appeal.

We are also a growing economy with many businesses expanding into our market and growing the number of jobs offered to our neighbors. Between our team, we have been living in the Rogue Valley and Josephine County most of our adult lives. Some of the neatest places to visit in our valley are some of the oldest and iconic, and Medford is full of iconic architecture, especially down the main strip of Central and Riverside. This is all intermingled with a ongoing project to reinvigorate the face of Medford with modern buildings and contemporary architecture.
